Welcome back! It’s Stephen Hunt, the Managing Director of Hunt Hospitality International. Today I’m going to be talking to you about 90 Day Plans.
90 Day plans are your blueprint for success for the next three months. So they’re absolutely crucial for your business. If you don’t know where you’re going, it’s like driving a car at night with no lights on.
I find it really, really important to actually get all of your team involved in these 90 Day Plans. Our general managers, run the meetings and occasionally I sit in with them. They’re in charge of the 90 Day Plans including the operations and everything that goes into it. The team involvement, as I said, is crucial!
One of the first things that we do in our 90 Day Plans is a measurement of the last 90 Day Plan’s success. We cover topics such as promotions, marketing, compliance, and any marketing and promotions that we run. We measure it and see how successful it was. I can’t stress enough every team members importance in being involved in 90 Day Plans.
Part of the 90 Day Plan as well is your compliance. I’ve stressed compliance previously, it can be to do with your bankers, your stakeholders; it can do with any member of your team, it’s really important that you have a compliance on it. For us again, hospitality, pubs, working with the police and making sure you’re up to date with compliance. You need to be keeping on top of it regularly. So, the 90 Day Plan keeps you on track!
